Contact Lynn at ldischler@comcast.net to order your shirt. What a great Mother's Day gift!       2011 Community Gardeners - In March,  it is time to enroll for 2012.    You have until the end of March to enroll for 2012, but please do it asap as Spring is almost here....or it may be here already, who knows?!  If you are not planning to renew your plot in 2011, please let us know so that we can pass your plot along to someone on our waiting list.   Below are some helpful links and information for all gardeners in our community (and beyond) Soil Test Information.  We recommend that all gardeners get their soil tested at the beginning of each growing season.  The UMass Extension will do this for you at a small cost.  Instructions and order forms can be found at this link. http://www.umass.edu/soiltest/ Planting calendar.  Not sure when to put your seeds in the ground or start seedlings indoors.  This link will provide you with a calendar based upon your last frost date.  Many of us use May 15 as the date in Bolton, but you can alter it slightly based upon your local microclimate.  http://bioarray.us/Skippy%27s%20planting%20calendar.html   We recommend using May 15 for the last frost date, but for this year, who knows!?
