Grow a Row!

The folks at Holy Trinity Parish (formerly St. Francis and St. Theresa) are organizing Grow a Row! a project to bring fresh vegetables to our neighbors who shop at the Hudson Food Bank and at Loaves and Fishes in Devens.

The Hudson Food Bank reports that they have had a
25% increase in the number of families they serve
just since January 1 of this year.

Pass the idea on to your friends!  Sure beats slipping your extra zucchini into the back seats of cars in the parking lot in August.

Holy Trinity Parish (formerly St. Francis and St. Theresa) are collecting garden produce for two local food banks.

On Tuesday morning,
we bring donations that have been left
at the back of
St. Francis church
(which is open round the clock)
before 8:30 AM
to the Hudson Food Bank.

On Friday
we bring donations that have been left
either in the back of church or downstairs in the kitchen at
St. Theresa parish in Harvard
before 8:30 AM
to Loaves and Fishes in Devens.

We invite neighbors to share however much or little their garden is producing. Together, we can collect enough to make a difference in many families' groceries with our fresh vegetables and fruit.
